We celebrated Braden and Logan's birthdays with a Super Hero birthday party last weekend! It was a lot of fun to plan, and they were thrilled to be able to dress like super heroes! I don't think Braden has taken his cape off since the party... He even wore it out to the restaurant for dinner the next night. We had such a great time celebrating with family and friends!
The cake was amazing! Brenda's Cakes in Avon did an amazing job!
I love our super hero family! Even Kellen had a Batman cape!
I have to say that the Spider web spray (aka Silly String) was a HUGE success!
On June 11 Kellen turned nine months old! He is SO close to being a whole year old and it makes this Mommy sad... But, we will just keep putting that off for as long as possible! He continues to be the happiest most easy going baby ever!

Development
Takes two naps a day, one around 9:45 or 10am and another at some point in the afternoon, usually around 2:30 or 3pm
Goes to bed by 8pm and is up for the day sometime between 6:30 and 7:30am.
He sleeps through the night some nights and other nights he wakes up once to eat - it's really unpredictable still, so hopefully that becomes more consistent over the next month or so.
He loves to eat! He eats two large jars of baby food at each meal. So far, there really isn't anything that he doesn't like. Just this week we introduced yogurt and he LOVES it.
Have tried finger foods but he gags himself, so we try about once a week.
He nurses or has a bottle before each nap, around 5pm and then before bed time. And of course in the middle of the night if he wakes up.
Sits up independently. He has been doing this for about a month now and doesn't fall over anymore!
Crawls extremely well up on all fours and is getting really fast!
Pulls himself up to standing position and will walk around things while holding on. We have an ottoman in the living room and he loves to hold on to that and walk around it.
Is fascinated with stairs. He is pretty good at climbing them and of course we are always right with him when he does.

Says dada and baba. Kevin tells me that he has said mama, but I have yet to hear it.
Still no teeth and still not much hair!
Likes/Dislikes
Loves taking walks, swinging, and going to the pool
Loves the vacuum and unplugging things from outlets
Really loves anything that can go in his mouth
Enjoys that he can keep up with his big brothers
Loves his blankie - I let him nap with it now, but still keep it out of his bed at night
Loves his Mommy. He has been SUPER attached and clingy to me for the past 6 weeks or so. It's cute and sweet, but at the same time it's not because if he can see me he wants me to hold me. Nobody else will do.
Loves going to restaurants. That's a good thing because his brother do too and Mommy doesn't really like to cook on the weekends.
His only dislike is really the car seat still. He is usually OK for about 10 minutes and then if he doesn't fall asleep he is screaming.
On June 14 Braden turned FOUR years old! He is funny, smart, determined, loving, inquisitive, and energetic.

Loves his brothers. Yes, he plays roughly with Logan and they fight like brothers do, but he really loves him and misses him if he's not here. He loves playing with Kellen and making him laugh!
He still takes an afternoon nap most days.... thankfully!
He is learning how to swim and is making great progress!
Can count to 20, identify some letters with sounds, and knows the alphabet along with many many songs.
Wants to know everything and asks no fewer than 500 questions a day
We started his big day by opening presents, and yes, playing with them in the driveway in our PJs. He wanted to go to Chuckie Cheese for lunch and playtime, followed by dinner at Scotty's. We had a great day!
Poor Logan has also been neglected as far as blog posts go. Unintentionally of course, but I figured I had better dedicate a post just to him!
Oh Logan, where to start... He brings us so much joy and laughter every day, but is is also our most challenging of the three kiddos :)
He is very smart but also extremely stubborn and strong willed. If he doesn't want to do something it is a huge battle to get him to do it.
Potty training: because of the above point, potty training continues to be a challenge. He was almost completely potty trained for a few weeks and then just decided he wasn't going to be and began having accidents. We decided to put him back in diapers, but that didn't work very well either. He would pee or poop in the diapers and then take them off without telling us, so we would find dirty diapers everywhere. The only way he wouldn't have any accidents is if he was naked, but of course he can't be naked all the time. Just this last few days he has been doing much better about staying dry. Hopefully he decides to keep it up this time!
Loves to cuddle with Mommy and Daddy
Loves to dance, sing, run, jump, and climb.
He also tends to be a bit clumsy, so he falls a lot.
Has a slight stuttering issue, but I think it's because his mind is working too fast and his mouth can't keep up!
Is starting to get into imaginative play
Loves to play with Braden, but doesn't really care too much about playing with Kellen yet.
Wants to be outside 24/7
Does not like much fruit except for bananas but does very well with vegetables. Is a more adventurous eater than Braden
Sleeps from 8 or 8:30pm until about 7am
Naps once a day, at the same time as his brothers in the afternoon. He DEFINITELY needs a nap during the day.
Has a big temper and is not very patient. He can get very mad very quickly and often times will throw toys or hit things. We are working on that...
He can also be very silly and goes into what we call "Bear Mode" where is is just off the wall crazy and hysterical
This usually happens whenever we get the markers out :)
Kevin and I met in the summer of 2006 through our mutual friends. We dated for two and a half years before getting engaged on November 6, 2008. We were married in Indianapolis on May 30, 2009. We have two cats, Oscar and Henry, and a dog Rocco. Our first child, Braden, was born on June 14, 2011. We recently welcomed our second child, Logan, born July 30, 2012.
