We have made it to 15 weeks. I can still fit into my normal pants, but they just aren't comfortable anymore :) The baby bump is not this big all the time yet. This photo was taken at the very end of the day, after a very large dinner, so it appears larger than it actually is. At the beginning of the day, it's barely there, but I'm never ready to go in the morning for Kevin to take a picture. My goal is to take a photo once a week. We will see if I can keep this up...
We LOVE Pirates of the Caribbean. All three movies. LOVE THEM. We went to see Harry Potter a few weeks ago, and as we were walking through the theater I saw a movie poster that looked to me like it was from Pirates of the Caribbean. I looked closer and there was no description or movie name, only the date of May 2011. We had always assumed that there would be another Pirates movie simply based on the way the third movie ended, but we had not heard anything about it. Well sure enough... the fourth Pirates movie is coming out soon! It looks awesome! I'm thinking this will be the perfect date night event for "the last date night before Baby Hall makes his or her appearance"!

I am sure that most everyone knows by now, but we are expecting our first baby in June 2011! We are 13 weeks pregnant and our estimated due date at this point is June 20. Even though a lot of people suspected, we managed to only tell our parents and siblings until this week when we left the first trimester. It was a very long time to keep it in!
Everyone has been asking, so here is the scoop:
I have felt GREAT the whole time. I have had absolutely no morning sickness which has been a blessing. I have noticed that I've been more tired, but that's about it. I am no showing yet, but I'm sure that will change soon :) I haven't really had any cravings, except for hot sauce and breakfast foods. But not breakfast for breakfast - only for dinner. We are also not planning to find out the gender of the baby and prefer to be surprised! (At least that is the plan for now... it could change!)
One of probably eight tests that I took. I didn't believe the ones with the lines, but there is no denying the one with the words!
We had our first ultrasound at 8 weeks. The baby still looks a bit "alien like" but was very healthy. We won't have another ultrasound until somewhere around 21 weeks or so.
Today was the first day that we had substantial snow fall. We have maybe 4 inches so far, and there is no sign of it letting up anytime soon! Rocco has never experienced snow before, and he loves it! He runs around like crazy, and we discovered that he likes to eat the falling snow!
Renee and Austin tied the knot on a beautiful Saturday in September. It was a bit more chilly than expected, but the wedding was so beautiful that it didn't matter. Thankfully, the rain held off until after the ceremony was over and the reception was under the tent. Renee was gorgeous as always and everything was so well planned out that it went off without a hitch! We are so happy for them and know that they will have a very happy life ahead of them!

Man v. Food is one of our favorite shows. He came to Indiana one day and went to three locations: (1) Edwards (2) Gray Brothers, and (3) Bub's Burgers. This show happens to be one of Dad's favorite shows too. Mom and Dad came into town and we decided to have dinner at Bub's since we had all already eaten at the other two restaurants that Man v. Food went to.
As soon as we went there, Dad knew that he had to do the "Big Ugly Challenge". What is the Big Ugly Challenge you ask? Well, it's a burger with a weight of 1 pound AFTER being cooked. That's a 22oz pre-cooked weight. If you eat one Big Ugly you get your picture on the wall. You eat 2 you get a bigger picture on the wall. You eat 3 and you get a poster on the wall. You eat 4 and you get a life size cut out of your picture. Out of the thousands of attempts, only 4 people have eaten 3, and no one has made it to 4.

He cut it into 4 sections to make is psychologically easier. Here is is, almost 3/4 of the way done. If you can't tell, he was struggling... actually sweating. But he's SO close! And the last bite of success! Ok, he only made it through one burger so I guess he won't be the next host of Man v. Food, but he said it gave him a greater appreciation for what the guy actually did! Next time you are in Bub's look for Dad's picture on the wall. I have a feeling that Kevin is now going to try it - he can't be shown up!
My brother, Nate, and his wife, Angie, just brought home a 6 week old Golden Retriever puppy named Posey. We met her on Monday, and she is SOOOOOO adorable!
Aunt Heather is deifinitely going to spoil her :) This picture makes me realize that she is currently the size of Rocco's head. Ok, not really, but it seems like it. We bought her that toy! She is definitely a Daddy's girl.
We saw a doggie pool at PetsMart today and decided to bring one home to see how Rocco would like it. It took him awhile to figure out that he could do more than drink the water, but once he did he had a great time!
Nate and Angie's photographer had the AWESOME idea to set up a photo booth at the reception. It was fully stocked with costumes and props. It was a blast! Here are a few shots. I LOVE this photo - not sure why it's so funny... Our tourist photo!
Kevin and I met in the summer of 2006 through our mutual friends. We dated for two and a half years before getting engaged on November 6, 2008. We were married in Indianapolis on May 30, 2009. We have two cats, Oscar and Henry, and a dog Rocco. Our first child, Braden, was born on June 14, 2011. We recently welcomed our second child, Logan, born July 30, 2012.
