Happy 2nd Birthday Logan!

Logan turned two years old on July 30!  It's hard to believe that two years have come and gone since he joined our family.

He hasn't had his two year physical yet, so I really don't have any measurements on him yet, but he is definitely growing!

I would describe Logan as sweet, loving, busy, energetic, smart, and persistent.  His language skills are fairly advanced I think.  He is talking in five or six word sentences.  He can sing the ABC's independently along with several other songs.  He uses utensils well.  His fine motor skills are developing nicely - he loves to color and is able to peel stickers off the sheets.  His gross motor skills are also where they should be.  He runs all over the place and is working on jumping.  He can go up and down the stairs independently.  He is an excellent sleeper and still takes one nap during the day for about two hours.  He is also a very good eater and there are not many food that he won't eat.  His favorite food is still bananas, or 'big ole nanas' as he likes to call them.  He really enjoys playing outside, playing basketball, singing and dancing.  He enjoys some cartoons, but really does not sit long enough to watch them.

On his birthday we spent the afternoon at home before the boys had swimming lessons.  We had cupcakes and opened presents.  And now he goes around singing "Happy Birthday to me"!
